Can-Am ATVs Cover a Wide Range of Uses

!±8± Can-Am ATVs Cover a Wide Range of Uses

Time was, when you wanted to get off the pavement onto something rough you had one option: a Jeep. Anything other than that and it was all about the adventure of taking inappropriate equipment to out-of-the-way places. But the past is long dead and gone and today companies like Can-Am offer a wide range of all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) tailored to meet just about any style of riding you prefer.

Take the Renegade, for example. With aggressive styling and suspension and handling to match, the Renegade is anything but sedate. Available in three models ranging from 82 horse power and 40 horse power, these babies will get you where you want to go, with fun along the way guaranteed. Are you into ice racing? Drill some screws into these knobbies and you're instantly competitive. On the other hand, if cross-country is your passion, consider the Renegade X XC.

Or maybe your thing is heading into the back country, with camping and hunting or fishing gear. You're probably going to want to look at the Outlander. Once you've strapped your gear on the back and front and your partner has climbed on behind you, you're ready for adventure. Distant lakes and hunting grounds that beckoned but were a long day's hike away are now easily accessible in a lot less time with far less effort. Sometimes getting there is most of the fun; other times you just want to get there because once you're there, that's when the fun begins. Not that cruising up the mountain with ease doesn't offer its own brand of fun.

Of course, the Outlander also comes in a variety of models. The Outlander MAX offers four engine options, from 32 to 71 horse power. Passenger seats go off or on in seconds offering your choice of more carrying capacity or more people. Then you've got the Outlander MAX XT, the MAX XT-P, and the MAX Limited. The MAX Limited is the top of the line model, and Can-Am calls it "the most luxurious ATV available." Other bragging points, according to Can-Am:

• New Tri-mode Dynamic Power Steering for intuitive control.
• Air Control Suspension for customizable comfort on the fly.
• Removable Garmin GPS for exploring on four wheels or two feet.
• The Convertible Rack/Seat System offers the best two-up capability to bring along a passenger, and it can also be used for storage on solo rides.

What about when things get messy? You go off road and sooner or later it's going to rain, turning dirt to mud. Can-Am has an Outlander for that. It's the Outlander X mr. The "mr" stands for mud-riding. One look at the tires will tell you this is not just a dirt machine, it's intended for some serious slogging.

Maybe there's a young rider in your family. Can-Am has an ATV for that. The DS comes in three models, the DS 90, the DS 70, and the DS X. With the DS 90 right-sized for kids 10 and older, and the DS 70 designed for younger ones from 6 up, this ATV is simple with just forward, neutral, and reverse. For a more radical (read "fun") take on the design, you can opt for the DS X.

Moving up in age a little further, the DS 250 is aimed at riders 14 and up. Again, shifting not an issue with the continuously variable transmission. And then, for a sport quad, there is the DS 450. Racing is in the blood with this one.

Yep, doing some dirt is not at all what it once way. Now it's a way for the whole family to get out and have a great time, together. And with Can-Am's line-up of ATVs, you'll be having fun in style.

Quad Bike Dealers

!±8± Quad Bike Dealers

If you are looking for a Quad Bike Dealer in the UK today, you may have noticed many websites that on the surface look like a reputable business, but if you dig deeper you find out that they are not all good with service or back up should your Quad Bike fail.

One of the key factors when you find a website for a Quad or ATV Dealer is make a written note of the business name, as well as the website url. The reason I say this is because you can use Google to search for information or people who may have had problems with the company previously.

A good Quad Dealer will be recognised in respect they are an Official Franchise or partner of a particular manufacturer of Quads or ATVs. Not just because they have the logo or emblem of the manufacturer on their website will it guarantee they are an official UK Quad Bike dealer.

There is a fine line between some one selling Quad Bikes or ATVs just for profit, and one that will supply you with a vehicle that will have the sales, service and quality back up you deserve as a customer. The largest problems come with importers of Bikes and Buggies from China.

Some, and not all Chinese Quad Bike and ATV manufacturers will deliver a quantity of spares and accessories to the buyer buyer within a container. This is to support the buyer with service should they get any issues. The other side to the coin is not all manufacturers operate in this way.

This is where problems start!

As there is no written information regarding the back up and warranty of the machine, if you dont purchase through a reputable business then you may find it difficult to claim should the bike fail you at any stage.

Try Before You Buy!
Before you purchase a Quad or ATV always keep the following points in mind and hopefully, you should keep the right side of the fence making it easier for you long term.

Always check the business name of the seller on Google Search the domain name using Google and check for issues being reported against the business Use more than one method of communication to contact the dealer, phone and email Make sure they carry a comprehensive package of spares for service Make sure you get the warranty facts in writing from the seller

Just from following these few tips, it should keep you on track to a happy and safe experience with your purchase. The majority of faults are not caused by parts failure, and more to do with failure to fit them correctly in the first place.

Because business sites can be created from a template, websites can rise and fall within a few months. If at any stage you have a concern about a delaer, you can look up using a method called whois. Whois is a service offered to the domain industry that keeps the data stored on certain types of domains.

Within the data should be the name of the business or person who registered the domain in the beginning, with possibly address details and contact methods, email and phone. Make a note of these and keep them just in case you need to contact the seller in future. Alternatively, look for a comprehensive list of Quad Bike dealers within a reputable website!

Purchasing Real Yamaha ATV Parts in an Age of Chinese Knock Offs

!±8± Purchasing Real Yamaha ATV Parts in an Age of Chinese Knock Offs

Would you really get a classic Yamaha ATV and then fill it up with a bunch of cheap Chinese knock off parts? That's what a lot of people do when they want to save a few bucks. But here is the question I have for them. Are these people really Yamaha ATV parts enthusiasts? Or are they just looking to save a few bucks. That is something you have to figure out when you fix up your Yamaha. Right now there are 47,000 pages dedicated to cheap Chinese knock off parts on the web. This is not a good thing.

This has a lot of people complaining. I had an experience where I was asking a lot of questions about Kawasaki ATV and OEM parts online. My email was snatched up by a Chinese knock off parts company and then things got really interesting. I was asked to smuggle in Chinese knock off parts into America and to start selling them. Believe it or not I was getting a lot of small knock off parts companies writing me every other week. As hard as it is to hear this is true. Now as an American ATV fanatic I want to support my brand and my vehicle that I worked so hard for.

On a more serious level I wonder how many accidents have resulted from buying cheap knock off parts? I typed this into Google to see what I would come up with and low and behold - I discovered the worst news ever. There is a forum on page one that asks if anyone has been killed or seriously injured in a roll over accident due to third party knock off parts. The bottom line on this is that the plastics are very different. The plastics used in Rhino parts are prone to break easily and from the looks on this forum they break often. This is something you do not seriously need. I for one have no intentions of ending up in the emergency unit this summer. I'm careful like that.

Think of what this can do to your summer. What if you do not have insurance? And even if you do have insurance do you want your rig flying on top of your rib cage? Heavens, what a scenario. This is the kind of stuff that can happen to you apparently if you buy garbage and put it into your ATV. I like taking risks but when I do you can bet it is when I jump over dirt mounds or race against my friends. I do not risk my body, and health by being thrown off my ATV while I am doing stunts.

Anyone with a Yamaha ATV should seriously look into this. After doing a little research here online I may have saved myself a serious doctors bill.
